Constructed in 1916, the building first opened its doors as a hardware and farm supply store. In the decades that followed, 63 East Boston welcomed more than a dozen tenants—each bringing new life to the space. In 2013, the Christensen & Schmidt family reimagined the space once more, launching SoHo63. You can still spot touches from our hardware store days—original brick, vintage ceiling tiles, and the original floors inside Brix on Boston.
